Far Eastern University Central Student Organization (FEU CSO) in collaboration with the Office of Volunteerism, Student Development, FEU Campus Ministry and the FEU Management prepared a christmas event for the FEU service personnel titled "Mula sa FEUso" on December 17, 2016, held at the FEU University Conference Center (UCC).
With the theme of "Leadership and Compassion", the event was attended by 250 FEU personnel. The event was held to show FEU's appreciation towards them for their hardwork and diligence to FEU and its community.
The event was hosted by Mr. Emmanuel Gonzales, FEU faculty member. The opening remarks were given by Mr. Joshua Valencia, FEUCSO Vice President, giving his thanks to the personnel for "doing their job well, making the campus clean and safe for the students.
It was then followed by series of games that had the crowd abuzz with excitement and glee. The first game was a question and answer portion, and had the participants tested on their knowledge about FEU. The second game was called "Pahabaan" where 3 groups of ten people would line up their belongings in an attempt to make the longest line possible. The third game was the "Mannequin Challenge" with a twist, requiring the players to show a concept of Christmas in the Philippines. The fourth and final game was called "Pinaka" where the host gave a category and whoever had the "pinaka malaki, maliit, malayo..." was the winner. All participants were given a prize for participating and the winners of the games were given a grand prize from FEUCSO.
Following the games, all of the participants and the organizers sang a community song, "Ang Pasko Ay Sumapit", encapsulating the wonderful memory of the event within the hearts of everyone involved. An intermission was conducted by a FEUCSO Executive Committee, Sheena Oliquino singing "Last Christmas".
The closing remarks were given by Dr. Marilou Cao, head of the Office of Volunteerism, noting that "the event would not be possible without the help of the top management and the student volunteers."
At the end of the event, each participant was given a noche buena pack as a christmas gift from FEU.
