'The supremacy of a society is veraciously governed by the benevolent behavior of its members' along with these lines the Far Eastern University Central Student Organization (FEUCSO) heartily welcomed its revitalizing force; FEUCSO Batch 83, through a general assembly entitled "FEU Central Student Organization Unite" last Thursday, September 27, 2018.
The first ones to dominate the stage were Aniessa Kasan (FEUCSO's Treasurer) who led the prayer, and Ms. Lenore Delos Santos the FEUCSO Adviser, gave her opening remarks to officially start the event.
The command of stage then transferred to Thomas Jefferson Cauzon, the former Presidential Chief of Staff and now Executive Consultant of FEUCSO, wherein he summarized the organization's remarkable history of how it came to be, he also highlighted his 5-year leadership journey and some of his rigorous experiences when he was a new member; how he has gone through all the pain and sufferings during his term as Chief of Staff while spearheading and innovating the organization's main events; and how it became a pivotal point in his life that made him how he is now. He ended up his speech by encouraging the new members to fulfill their duties to the fullest and wishing them a fruitful journey.
Jemand Jacinto, the IE Senior Representative of FEUCSO,elucidated the improved organizational structure--their roles, duties, the maintenance of the office, custom activities and upcoming programs. In addition, he introduced the officers of FEUCSO.
To spice things up, Céline Andrea D. Alburo (Director for External Affairs) along with Princess Hannah Royon (Associate Director for External Affairs) the hosts for the program, announced the Raffle Draw Event winners - Anna Kaycee De Padua and Hannah Joy Ella in which the former won the Minor Prizes and the latter received the Major Prizes.
Bernadete Loa, former FEUCSO Presidential Chief of staff, also heralded some words of wisdom for the new committees, at which point she also talked about how her journey went through as shefirst entered the organization. From Human Barricade to Presidential Chief of Staff and her unforgettable nightmare on dealing with Sponsors, by facing head on these challenges she surpassed her limits. She left a meaningful final message: 'One must endure hardships in order to make a name for yourself'.
The Pledge Ceremony was led by no other than the President of FEUCSO Reuben Jade Sobrevilla, who reminded the newborn leaders to integrate and embody the servitude and selfless leadership not only in FEU, but also when they are outside the University.
After the oath-taking ceremony, the new members were asked to stay for a few minutes and get to know their officers and comrades. Lastly, to commemorate the new beginning of Far Eastern University Central Student Organization Batch 83, agroup picture was taken at FEU Main Campus Grandstand.
